Pricing & Fees
GovPayPlan has no cost to your agency. All processing fees are collected as convenience fees from end users making payments. This means your agency receives 100% of the payment amount with no deductions.
Visit our pricing page to see rates based on your monthly transaction volume.
When a constituent makes a payment, a convenience fee is added to cover processing costs. This fee is paid by the payer, not the agency. The fee amount is clearly disclosed before payment is submitted.
For example, if someone owes $100 and the convenience fee is 3%, they would pay $103 total. Your agency receives the full $100.
No. There are no setup fees, monthly fees, or hidden costs. You only pay processing fees on actual transactions, and those fees come from convenience fees paid by end users.
Yes. If your agency prefers to absorb processing costs, we can configure your account so that no convenience fee is charged to payers. The processing fee would then be deducted from the payment amount before settlement.
Many agencies choose a hybrid approach, absorbing fees for certain payment types (like ACH) while passing card fees to payers.
Funds are typically deposited to your agency's bank account within 1-2 business days. You can choose daily, weekly, or monthly settlement schedules based on your accounting preferences.
